Cappadocia Anatolian Church was opened by the Anatolian Christian Community Association in Urgup region of Nevsehir.
At the opening ceremony many guests were present including the Liberation Churches Pastor Rev. Ihsan Özbek, Cankurtaran Church Pastor Rev. Hakan Taştan, Kayseri Church Pastor Rev. Muammer Karakaya, Orhan Özçelik from Silas Ministries, Diyarbakır Church Pastor Rev. Ahmet Güvener.
Rev. Şahin Güler, who gave a sermon in the opening ceremony said that the church was founded in order to serve the Christians who live in Cappadocia and the tourists coming from many different countries. Pastor Şahin gave information on the Anatolian Christian Community Association in Urgup and its services is the context of freedom of belief.
The Pastor of the Liberation Churches Rev. Ihsan Özbek who made the opening prayer and blessing of the church stated “I am encouraged for seeing this center and having information on the services. I am very happy for the opening of this place. I am praying that they will please the Lord through their services and their testimonies. May the Lord will bless them.
The program ended with a cocktail. It is reported that the church will be open every weekday and Sunday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
