The ‘Way Back Home’ short film which is co-produced by SAT-7 and SAT-7 TÜRK and adapted from a book by İsmail Serinken received 7 awards from the “Christian Film Festival”.
The First Short Film by SAT-7 TÜRK
The film started to its festival journey in the second half of 2017. It has entered the official selection in 5 secular and 2 Christian-themed competitions. The film has been shown at the festivals in Greece, Romania, Israel, Poland, USA, Italy and in Izmir Short Films Festivals and it has been semi-finalist in the NearNazareth Festival in Israel and San Mauro Film Festival in Torino.
It has been awarded in the State of Virginia, the Christian Film Festival organized by Melville Baptist Church with a total of seven awards, two of which were audience awards. Among the prizes it received there are: Best Short Film, Best Foreign Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Child Actor. The Way Back Home will continue its festival journey until the end of 2018.
The shooting of the film was completed in 1 week las summer and it was premiered in September 2017. At the film Öner Ateş and Selim Daniel Luibrand were starring and Nüvit Candaner was the owner of the overvoice.
