Citizens Aged 65 And Over Went Out For 4 Hours
While curfew continued at the end of the fifth week, citizens aged 65 and over went out for 4 hours (11.00-15.00) after 7 weeks.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a circular on curfews in 24 provinces between May 8 at 24.00 and May 10 at 24.00. Due to the restriction, the streets were emptied in 24 cities, and the density of pedestrians and vehicles decreased to the lowest level. In the fifth weekend of restriction, this time, citizens aged 65 and over and those with chronic diseases were allowed to go out for 4 hours.
Minister Soylu, in his post on his Twitter account, requested that residents in 57 provinces should not go out during the hours when the people over 65 years of age and those who have chronic diseases will be out.
Minister Soylu’s message is as follows:
“I have a request. Tomorrow, our patients over the age of 65 and chronic diseas will be able to go out for the first time between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Since there are curfews in 24 provinces, they will not meet anyone. The residents of the other 57 provinces should not leave their homes in these hours for elders.”
