Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomeos received Armenian Patriarchal Locum Tenens Bishop Sahak Maşalyan and his delegation
Last Friday, Armenian Patriarchal Locum Tenens Bishop Sahak Maşalyan and his accompanying delegation visited the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Istanbul and were received by His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
Before the meeting, Patriarchal Locum Tenens Bishop Sahak Maşalyan, Patriarchal General Secretary Archpriest Tatul Anushian, Father Krikor Damadyan and Father Shirvan Mürzyan visited St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral and prayed there.
Bishop Maşalyan thanked Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomeos for his good wishes and support. His Holiness the Patriarch once again congratulated him and wished him success in his office as the Patriarchal Locum Tenens and stated that he would pray for the election of a new Armenian Patriarch.
At the end of the meeting, Patriarch Bartholomew gave a scepter to the Patriarchate as a tribute to the visit.
