The Orthodox people living in Antioch, continue their Wednesday Meals also this year, which they organize traditionally during the Christmas Fasting Period. The Orthodox faithful of the city enjoy the happiness getting together around a table for this occasion.
The ”Wednesday Meals” which is practiced during the Christmas Fasting, this year is held in the St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church in Antioch. The members of the congregation eat the olive oil dishes prepared by the women’s group.
In the events where local food is made and shared, the Antiochian Orthodox people come together in the church hall, preparing them for the excitement of Christmas with a one-month fasting period.
