The Governor of Ordu, Seddar Yavuz, carried out a series of investigations in order to transform the historical Taşbaşı Church into a city museum, after the restoration work which is being done through the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. After completion of the restoration work, the historical church building will be used for the regional tourism.
Governor Yavuz, stated that the restoration work has been realized thanks to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Eastern Black Sea Development Agency.
Finally, he said that important works were carried out in Fatsa and Ünye districts which are rich in historical assets.
