The Neocatechumenal Congregation gathering at the Saint Anthony’s Church, located on İstiklal Avenue of Beyoğlu starting the catechesis period.
These meetings which the first took place on February 10, will continue every Monday and Thursday at the St. Anthony’s Church at 20:00. There will be organized 14 meetings in total and are open to people of all denominations and religions. After the meetings, the participants will be able to get answers for their questions about Christianity and the Neocatechumenal path.
What is Catechesis?
Catechesis is nothing other than the process of transmitting the Gospel, as the Christian community has received it, understands it, celebrates it, lives it and communicates it in many ways. It is also teaching of rituals and practices, prayers and hymns used in religious ceremonies.
