The Focolare Movement which was founded by Chiara Lubich had a gathering of tho days in Iskenderun with the participation of the faithful and the representatives of the Movement in Turkey. Father Dariusz Dogondke, the parish priest of the Latin Catholic Church of the Annunciation in Iskenderun also participated in the event.
During the meetings, the ideals of Chiara Lubich, whose 100th Birthday was celebrated this year were discussed and the participants watched short videos of her meetings around the world, her speeches on ‘love’ and her funeral.
Speaking at the meeting, Father Dariusz Dogondke pointed out that one way to reach Jesus is Mary, and this “Mariapoli” (Mary’s City) is also a good event on this road.
During the event, where the experiences of those who knew the ideal of Chiara Lubich were listened for two days, the new participants also shared their opinions and ideas.
