The Armenian Catholic Churches all around the world celebrated the Palm Sunday on Sunday, March 25, as well as in Turkey. The Holy Mass at the Taksim Surp Hovhan Vosgeperan Armenian Catholic Church started at 11: 00 and it was led by the Archbishop of the Armenian Catholic Community in Turkey Mgr Levon Zekiyan. Mgr Zekiyan blessed the olive branches, performed the ritual of the blessing of the four directions, while the choir of the Vosgeperan parish sang.
On the same day, the church hosted the vespers and the door opening ceremony which represents the second coming of Jesus Christ.
In Kadıköy Surp Levon Armenian Catholic Church, the Palm Sunday mass was led by Father Mikail Uçar who blessed the olive branches.
