On the occasion of the Holy Resurrection Feast, the Patriarch of the Armenians of Turkey Sahak II accepted the congratulations of the sister communities, religious leaders and politicians at the Patriar chate Hall on Wednesday, April 20.
His Beatitude the Greek Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew, the Assyrian Kadim Deputy Patriarch Metropolit Mor Filuxinos, President of the Union of Bishops of Turkey, Monsignor Massimiliano Palinuro, and the Assyrian Catholic Church Deputy Patriarch Monsignor Father Orhan Çanlı congratulated His Beatitude the Patriarch and presented their good wishes on behalf of their congregation.
Sahag Sargsyan, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Council, and his deputy, Nagash Hagopian, also attended the congratulatory reception.
Besides the clergy; Members of the Sivas People’s Association, under the leadership of Ali Berker Bilir; -grandson of the late folk-song artist Zehra Bilir- Zeynep Kamil Rotary Club Managers, Chief Advisor to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor; Cemalettin Özdemir and Nilüfer Taşkın from the Municipality Beliefs Desk, Şisli Mayor Muammer Keskin and Selina Doğan, Beyoğlu Mayor Haydar Ali Yıldız, Beşiktaş Deputy Mayor Ali Rıza Yılmaz and Nurhan Palakoğlu, Istanbul Deputy Mayor Ali Kenanoğlu also paid a congratulatory visit.
