The Feast of St. George was celebrated at the Bulgarian Orthodox Church in Edirne.
According to Doğan News Agency, after the mass celebrated with the participation of the Orthodox clergy coming from Greece and Bulgaria, the priest Alexandre Çıkırık said: “God willing, we will always gather togerter and celebrate the feasts in peace”.
Many faithful coming from Greece and Bulgaria also attended the celebration which held in the church in the Kıyık district of the town. Rev. Çıkırık stated that this feast is celebrated every year in the presence of the Bulgarian and Greek faithful.
After the celebration finished, a cocktail was offered to the participants.
