Sinop Culture and Tourism Association President Cemalettin Kaya said that the EcumenicalPatriarch Bartholomew may visit Sinop.
Speaking at a press conference held in the Balatlar Building Group, Cemalettin Kaya, the President of Sinop Culture and Tourism Association said “Archeological and cultural researches are carried out in the city. In Sinop, all the cultural and historical tourism assets are always at a pedestrian distance. I would like to emphasize this. There are many faith groups in our country. One of these communities is the Orthodox Patriarchateof Istanbul. Together with Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror, the Patriarchate has taken place in the Turkish history. The Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I will visit Sinop. Our biggest aim is that this comes out as a tourism value and contributes to our province out of tourism season.”
