The Awakening Youth, which has been meeting Christian youth since 2008, came together again on March 4. The event focused on the suffering of people who lost their homes and families in the severe earthquake that hit our country and Syria. Vahan Isaoglu, Pastor of Kadikoy International Community Church, shared about the disaster and suffering.
Can Yazıroğlu from Pastor of Kadikoy International Community Church led the worship time with hymns as the young people cried out to God. Then, Pastor Vahan İsaoğlu shared about the pain experienced. After words of encouragement, in a time of conversation and prayer, the young people shared their feelings about the disaster and the suffering and prayed.
Pastor Isaoglu prayed for the young people born in March. The event continued with hymns glorifying God and then the young people had a shared meal and conversation.
The next Istanbul Awakening Youth meeting will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023. The Awakening Youth meetings are aimed at Christian youth and are open to young people of all denominations.(SAT-7 TÜRK/SMY)
