The week of prayer for the unity of Christians started in İzmir, at the Hagia Photini Greek Orthodox Church. Peace and fraternity messages were given at meeting held with the participation of different Christian communities. At the end of the ceremony endured for about an hour, different church leaders were photographed together. Later the attendees came to the Cathedral of St. John for a cocktail.
