The 3-day “Summer Festival” organized by the Sarılar Social Assistance and Cultural Development Association in Sarılar District, where Orthodox Christians live in the Altınözü district of Hatay intensively, brought great activity to the region.
Magnificent Finale by Ogün Sanlısoy
Altınözü/Sarılar Mahallesi Summer Festival has been a source of interest for many citizens, from seven to seventy. On the last day of the festival, popular artist Ogün Sanlısoy took the stage.
Manuş Baba took the stage at the opening concert of Sarılar Mahallesi Social Assistance and Cultural Development Association’s Summer Festival event. On the second day, the popular music group MikotinBand gave the citizens unforgettable moments.
Popular artist Ogün Sanlısoy, who took the stage on the last day, enchanted the citizens of Altınözü with his beautiful songs. The participants of the concert accompanied all the songs of Sanlısoy.

Speaking about the events, Sarılar Mahallesi Social Assistance and Cultural Development Association President Costa Çiftçioğlu said; “We are very happy that our festival, which we organized with the aim of keeping the cultural heritage inherited from our ancestors alive and making the festivities traditional, concluded with enthusiasm this year, as in other years.
The purpose of establishing our association is to develop our neighborhood, to develop it economically and socially, to reveal its historical past, to activate civil society activities and to support people and organizations working on this issue.
