Armenian Patriarchate of Turkey issued a message of payer for the Turkish army which started a military operation in Syria, in Afrin region. The Armenian Patriarchate of Turkey congratulated the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) during this operation which is called “Olive Branch Operation”. In its written statement, the Patriarchate used the following expressions:
“As the Armenian Patriarchate of Turkey, we wish success to the Turkish Armed Forces at the Olive Branch Operation and we pray for the end of the terrorist acts, the coming of the peace and tranquility that all humanity is in need especially in our region. We believe in heart that we will be blessed with the celestial blessings of our Lord, who created the heaven. Through this faith, our church will be praying always during ceremonies for the will of the State of the Republic of Turkey, the country’s integrity, the unity and well-being of our nation. May God accept our prayers.”
