The Protestant Churches’ Association of Turkey posted a congratulatory message for the election of 85th Armenian Patriarch, His Eminence Sahak Mashalyan on its official web site last Wednesday (December 11th 2019)
The message posted is as follows:
“We congratulate His Eminence Sahak II for his election as the 85th Patriarch of the Armenians in Turkey.
We are delighted that our brothers and sisters in Christ, Armenians of Turkey have now a new Patriarch after 12 years of absence.
We pray for Patriarch Sahak II. May the Holy Spirit guide him in his new assignment. We raise our prayers to our Lord Jesus Christ that, the relations and brotherhood ties between churches may strengthen and the unity may increase in his tenure.”
