John the Baptist, who baptized Jesus Christ in the Jordan river, says in the Gospel of John; “I didn’t know him; but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me himself: Whoever you see the Spirit descending on him, it is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit. And I saw it and testified that this is the Son of God.”
As it is known, when John the Baptist was baptizing Jesus, the Holy Spirit came in the form of a dove and landed on Jesus and a voice came from the heavens; “This is my dear son, I am pleased with Him!” he said.
