Patriarch of Türkiye Armenians Sahak II. accepted the congratulations on the Feast of the Nativity.
On Wednesday, January 10, he hosted political representatives and their accompanying delegations in the Patriarchate reception hall and accepted their congratulations on the Feast of the Nativity.
SAT-7-Türk Executive Director Melih Ekener, Program Manager Cüneyt Arıkan, Digital Media Manager Ümit Teymur, Mıgırdiç Sucu, Minority Community Foundations Union representative Can Ustabaşı, Mardin Associations Federation President Masis Yontan, were welcomed in the reception hall by Patriarch Sahak II. The Patriarch greeted and welcomed all his guests with open arms.
During the receptions, Patriarch Sahak II was accompanied by Archbishop Aram Ateşyan, Deputy Patriarch Senior Father Krikor Damadyan, Father Şirvan Mürzyan, members of the board of directors of the Patriarchate Central Surp Asdvadzadzin Church; Minas Arslan, Zeki Kap and Sayat Sar.
During the congratulatory visits that started at noon, Istanbul Deputy Lawyer Serkan Bayram, Istanbul Deputy Celal Fırat, the Princes’ Islands Mayor Erdem Gül, Beşiktaş Deputy Mayor Ali Rıza Yılmaz, the Princes’ Islands District Mayor Sina Şen, Beylikdüzü District Mayor Mülayim Demirtaş, Bakırköy Mayor Candidate Dr. Hüseyin Özkahraman, Professor Bekir Kocazeybek from Cerrahpaşa University, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Council, Sahag Sargsyan.
First of all, the visitors celebrated the Armenian Church on Nativity and presented gifts to His Holiness the Patriarch. After good wishes were expressed mutually, refreshments were offered to the guests by the patriarchate officials. There were very sincere conversations.
As it’s a tradition, His Holiness the Patriarch gifted pomegranates, which is the symbol of abundance, to the guests and accompanying delegations who concluded their visit. Then a group photo was taken together.
