Awakening Youth, which continues its service to Christian youth, came together again on December 2. The meeting started with prayers and hymns. With Arek Özboyar from Gedikpaşa Protestant Church leading the worship time, young people approached the Lord with prayers and hymns.
After the worship, the short film titled “O Our Father in Heaven” was watched together. Then we moved on to the “Prayer for a city every month” section, which is a classic of the Awakening Youth. With the guidance of Stefan Ataker from Bible House Immanuel Church, we came to the presence of the Lord for the province of Çankırı.
Then, young people born in December were invited to the stage. Pastor Volkan Er from “Belirtiler ve Harikalar” (Signs and Wonders) Church prayed for blessings for Young People. Then Pastor Volkan Er shared about “Crying with joy in the Lord”.
The event continued with prayers and hymns. At the end of the meeting, young people had the opportunity to eat together and chat. It was announced that the next Istanbul Awakening Youth meeting will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
Awakening Youth meetings are held for Christian youth and are open to the participation of all Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant youth.
