Gift from Santa Claus to Earthquake Victims!
The joy of Christmas, known as the Feast of the Birth of Jesus Christ, was celebrated with the ‘Gift Distribution and Christmas Festival’ event organized for children after the destruction caused by the February 6 Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake.
At the event held in Iskenderun Saint George (Mar Circos) Church and celebrated among the happy faces of the children, without being overshadowed by the destruction caused by the earthquake, the children experienced the excitement and happiness of meeting Santa Claus and receiving gifts from him.
The event started with the choir consisting of little kids and young people singing Christmas hymns and reflecting the Christmas spirit once again, under the guidance of Church Father Nikolas Papasoğlu and his wife Habibe Papasoğlu.
All families enjoyed experiencing the happiness of Christmas once again, accompanying the hymns sung by young people and children by playing guitar and piano.
