The Patriarch of the Armenians of Turkey, Sahak II, received Archbishop Levon Zekiyan, the leader of the Catholic community of Armenians of Turkey, in his office on Tuesday, April 5.
Archbishop Zekiyan was accompanied by Archpriest Apraham Fıratyan and Deacon Der Hagop Minasyan during the visit, while Deputy Patriarch Senior Father Krikor Damadyan was also present at the meeting.
His Beatitude the Patriarch expressed his joy at the recovery of Archbishop Zekiyan after the operation he had due to his illness, and wished him a healthy life.
Patriarch Sahak II and Archbishop Zekiyan, who exchanged ideas on current and religious issues during the conversation held in a friendly atmosphere, wished that an atmosphere of friendship and brotherhood, tolerance and understanding each other could effectively continue to exist all over the world.
