The charity meal of the Galata St. Gregory the Illuminator Church and Getronagan High School took place on October 27, 2019 Sunday, with the participation of the Armenian Patriarchal Locum Tenens Bishop Sahak Mashalian. The event started with a Holy Eucharistic Celebration at the Virgin Mary Cathedral Church in Kumkapı and the charity meal took place et the Ğazaz Amira Bezciyan Hall.
The ceremony which started at 10:00 was presided by Bishop Sahak Mashalian, where the Holy Sacrament was offered by Reverend Zadik Babikyan. The liturgy was accompanied by Deacons and chorists, directed by Maestro Ovsanna Kalender.
Following the detailed explanations made by the President of the Foundation Harutyun Ebeoğlu, those who want to contribute to the closure of Getronagan High School’s annual budget deficit had the opportunity to watch the shows prepared by the students.
Bishop Mashalyan, The Patriarchal Locum Tenens, congratulated Hayk Aslanyan, the Head of the Donation Organizing Committee, for his efforts for years, stating that the budget deficit was almost closed with the donations collected.
