Friday (October 9, 2020), Armenian Patriarch of Turkey his Holiness Sahak II, has accepted a courtesy visit made by the representatives of the İstanbul bureau of beliefs.
The statement made on the Facebook page of the social media account of the Patriarchate is as follows;
His Holiness Patriarch Sahak II. Nibs received Nülüfer Taşkın, Islam Özkan, Fatma Yavuz and Vedat Kara, representatives of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality “Beliefs Bureau” at the Patriarchate on Friday, 9 October 2020. At the meeting, Chief Priest of the Patriarchate Tatul Anuşyan was also present.
Visitors provided information about their activities with this courtesy visit. During the conversation, there was also an exchange of ideas. Representatives of different communities also attended the “Bureau of Beliefs” established last year under the roof of İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality. On the orders of Patriarch Sahak II, the Patriarchate Office was represented by Father Zakar Koparyan at the “Bureau of Beliefs”.
His Beatitude the Patriarch thanked for the courtesy visit and the information conveyed. While underlining that this formation has completed its first year and continues its activities, it presented the success appreciation to those who served. His Beatitude the Patriarch also wished the visitors success in their work.
