On Saturday, July 3, the General Assembly of the Protestant Churches Association convened and elected the Term President and the members of the Board of Directors.
Ali Kalkandelen, Pastor of Yaşam Aile Church, who has been the term president of the Protestant Churches Association for about 3 years, was elected as the chairman for the second time. Radio Shema General Manager Soner Tufan, Diyarbakır Protestant Church Leader Ahmet Güvener, Bible House Immanuel Church Leader Behnan Konutgan and Kadıköy International Community Leader Vahan İsaoğlu were elected as the members of the Board of Directors. It was decided that the members of the Supervisory Board should continue in the same way.
Ali Kalkandelen, who was elected for the second time, said that they will pay more attention to the unity of churches in the new period, they will focus and develop all kinds of services for unity, they will share their knowledge and experience in terms of service, legal, whether they are members or not, and also on federating the Protestant Churches Association. He stated that they would work to get the headquarters of the association to Istanbul and ended his speech with good wishes. (SAT-7 TÜRK)
