Under the presidency of Istanbul and Turkey Armenian Catholic Spiritual Headship; On Thursday, January 6, the “Feast of the Appearance and Baptism of Jesus Christ,” or “The Feast of the Epiphany,” was celebrated.

Within the scope of corona measures, while a limited number of participants were accepted by complying with the pandemic rules, it was observed that the number of participants was low due to the increasing number of cases.
The day of the Epiphany; is the day when the birth of Jesus Christ was announced by the three priest kings Kaspar, Melkon and Bagdasar. The fact that these prophetic kings from the east brought Gold, olibanum and Myrrh as gifts to the baby Jesus is celebrated as the “Feast of the Baptism and Appearance of Jesus Christ” in all Armenian Catholic Churches.
