New Father Appointed to Surp Harutyun Church Outside Kumkapı
On Sunday (October 4th 2020), Surp Harutyun Church outside Kumkapı, newly appointed chaplain Father Natan Arabyan, made his first Holy mass in this church presided over Turkey’s Armenian Patriarch of Sahak II.
While the deacons and readers of the church served the Lord’s table, the church choir sang the hymns.
After His Beatitude the Patriarch gave the preaching of the day, he introduced the newly appointed chaplain of the church, Father Natan Arabyan, to the church community and presented him with his wishes of success.
As the last Holy mass of the summer period takes place on Sunday 04 October 2020 in Kınalıada Grigor Lusavorich Church, His beatitude Patriarch Sahak II, commented on the Mark 11: 20-26 verses in his sermon posted on Armenians of Turkey Patriarchate’s social media account Facebook.
