The parish priests and presidents of the foundations of the Orthodox Churches in Antioch and Mersin visited Yuhanna X Yazıcı, the Patriach of all Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch and of the East. The delegation paid visits also to many monasteries.
The group who visited the city of Lazkiya of Syria and met the Patriarch was consisted by the President of the Foundation of St. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church of Antioch Fadi Hurigil and Rev. Jan Delluller, the President of the Foundation of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Iskenderun Can Teymur, the President of the Foundation of St. Ilias Greek Orthodox Church of Samandağ Dimyan Emektaş and Rev. Dimyan Yakupoglu, the President of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church of Altinozu Sarlar Münir Balikoglu, Rev. Abdullah Papasoğlu and the President of St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel Greek Orthodox Church of Mersin Cem Altıniş.
The Patriarch welcomed the delegation coming from Antioch and Mersin with joy and enthusiasm, while Deacon Pavlos Orduluoğlu accompanied the foundation presidents and the Fathers in their trip. In addition to participating in the programs organized during the visit, the Delegation attended a special religious ceremony and visited many Monasteries.
