Within the scope of Advent, many nativity scenes were prepared in the St. Anthony’s Latin Catholic Basilica.
Decorations and nativity scenes made by Parish Priest Iosif (Yusuf) Robu, Fr. Andrzej Dylewski and the basilica staff Gürkan Gül have ttracted visitors.
The garden of the Saint Anthony’s Basilica is decorated with a big Christmas tree and models of Christ the Savior, Saint Joseph and the Virgin Mary.
These decorations have been a very nice background for the photos of the people who visit the basilica in this period.
Also in the interior of the basilica, on the left side of the major altar a nativity scene is being exhibited. An empty crib was placed in the front of the altar to represent the birth of Christ. (SAT-7 TÜRK)
