Armenian Patriarch of Turkey Sahak II, welcomed the spiritual leader of Turkey’s Armenian Catholic community, Archbishop Levon Zekiyan.

HIS BEATITUDE THE PATRIARCH WELCOMED THE SPIRITUAL LEADER OF TURKEY’S ARMENIAN CATHOLIC COMMUNITY, LEVON ZEKİYAN
“His beatitude the Patriarch Sahak II, on January 29, 2021, Friday, at 11 pm, in the Patriarchate official reception hall, welcomed the Armenian Catholic Community Spiritual Leader Archbishop Levon Zekiyan escorted by the high priest Apraham Fıratyan. Also the Deputy Patriarch Father Krikor Damadyan, Father Hovagim Seropyan and Inter-Church Relations Senior Responsible Father Drtad Uzunyan were present at the meeting.
During the friendly conversation, two spiritual leaders exchanged ideas about current issues. On this occasion, they wished the Coronavirus, which affected the whole world, to lose its effect, and stated that they were praying for humanity to have a regular life. At the end of the meeting, His Beatitude the Patriarch presented a copy of the book “Yergu Uhdavorner” (Two Pilgrims) written by him to Archbishop Levon as a memory of the visit. Archbishop Levon thanked His Beatitude the Patriarch for the hospitality shown and left the Patriarchate. “
